Daily Itinerary

Thursday, November 9
We will depart from Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C.  You will enjoy onboard meals and entertainment and a chance to sleep through the night in preparation for the days ahead in the Holy Land.

Friday, November 10
Since our arrival is typically late afternoon or evening, we will travel a short distance by bus for our first night’s stay at Hotel Metropolitan (www.hotelmetropolitan.co.il) in Tel Aviv, and along the Mediterranean Sea. If time allows, we will make a short stop at Jaffa where two very important biblical events took place.

Saturday, November 11
Our first day of touring begins at Caesarea, the magnificent port city built by King Herod. It is also where the Apostle Paul was imprisoned for two years. We will then travel to the top of Mt. Carmel to see the breathtaking view of the Jezreel Valley, the prophesied site of Armageddon. This is also where Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal. Our next stop is Nazareth Village, a living re-creation of life in the times of Jesus. Our visit will include a first century style meal. Our day concludes with dinner and overnight in Tiberias at Leonardo Club Hotel (www.fattal-hotels.com), a lovely hotel along the Sea of Galilee.

Sunday, November 12
Our day begins with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee that will include an unforgettable worship experience. This part of our tour is one of the most cherished by travelers. Afterwards we will visit the Church of the Primacy of Peter (John 21:1-24). We then take a short hike to the Mount of Beatitudes and visit a cave where it is believed Jesus would often escape to pray and meet with his disciples. Our final stop will be Capernaum where Jesus preached and performed healing miracles. The day ends with dinner and overnight Leonardo Club Hotel in Tiberias.

Monday, November 13
Today we drive north to Caesarea Phillipi where Peter confessed, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God!” In this area we will have magnificent views of Mount Hermon, the water source of the Jordan River. Our travels will also take us to Dan and Chorazim, two very important biblical cities. The day will end at the Jordan River baptism site for an opportunity to be baptized in the waters where Jesus himself was baptized. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias at Leonardo Club Hotel.

Tuesday, November 14
Today we travel south to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on the planet. We will visit Masada, where we ascend by cable car to visit the remnants of Herod's Palace and where in 73 A.D. the Zealots made their last stand against the might of Rome. Afterwards we’ll make our way to the Dead Sea for a float in its salty waters. Before our ascent to Jerusalem, we’ll visit Jericho for sightseeing and shopping. As we enter Jerusalem we will make stop at Mount Scopus for a view of Old City Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem at Leonardo Boutique Hotel (www.fattal-hotels.com).

Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem at Leonardo Boutique Hotel.

Friday, November 16
We will enter the Old City through the Lion’s Gate and stop at the Pools of Bethesda and St. Ann’s Church. From this point we will walk the Via Dolorosa (“The Way of Sorrow”) to experience Jesus’ suffering at the stations of the cross. You’ll visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Western Wall (“Wailing Wall”) and the Southern Temple Steps where Jesus would have traveled in his many visits to the temple in Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem at Leonardo Boutique Hotel.

Saturday, November 17
Today we go the Israel Museum to visit the Shrine of the Book and see a spectacular model of Jerusalem in the Second Temple Period. Then it’s to the Old City to visit the Tomb of David and the Upper Room. It’s then a short walk to the House of Caiaphas where Jesus was jailed before his crucifixion. We conclude our day at the Garden Tomb to reflect on the death and resurrection of our Lord with worship and communion. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem at Leonardo Boutique Hotel.
